Towson University incubator graduates three [Startup Roundup]

Who’s making moves?

TU Incubator graduated three startups last week, The Daily Record reports. Formerly TowsonGlobal, the Towson University incubator sent off marketing startup Adashmore Creative, video game studio Pure Bang Games and infertility web app My Hopeful Journey. The incubator has graduated nine startups since 2007 and has 18 current members, according to the report.
Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and Zipcar President Kaye Ceille cut the ribbon at the car-sharing company’s relocated Baltimore office in Harbor East on Monday.

Who’s getting funded?

Biotech startup Plasmonix sold $314,942 in equity last week, according to an SEC filing. The funding was part of a $564,942 offering for the Halethorpe firm, a member of the bwtech@UMBC incubator.
Owings Mills-based Differential Dynamics sold $850,000 in equity last week, according to an SEC filing. The move is the green energy startup’s second equity sale in as many months, totaling nearly $1.2 million in funding.
