Videology, founded by brothers Scott and John Ferber, the minds behind Advertising.com, the “technology, data and insights arm of AOL Advertising” with offices near Locust Point, has acquired mobile data management platform Collider Media, reports AdExchanger. This is Videology’s first acquisition.
Videology, which changed its name from Tidal TV at the beginning of this year, is an online advertising platform that uses mathematical calculations to help companies get their advertisements in front of “those consumers they most want to reach,” according to Videology’s website. It has an office in Baltimore, as well as offices in several other cities in the United States and an office in London.
The Baltimore Sun reports that Videology completed raising a round of investments worth a little more than $13 million on Aug. 17, and that some of that money went toward the acquisition of Collider Media, although the financial details of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
