If you’re moving this summer, there’s another place besides Craigslist to check out. An app designed to help connect roommates is adding Baltimore to its slate of cities.
Roomi is now live for the entire city in Baltimore. The free app, which the company describes as mobile-first, allows people looking for roommates to post listings. The app generates profiles for users based on questions like price and pet preference. It also features built-in chat features to allow for direct communication.
The app also went live in D.C. this week. To get to the Baltimore listings, you currently have to click the D.C. tab on Roomi’s homepage, but a spokesperson said the company plans to add Baltimore to the tab’s title.
Roomi is based in New York, and is also available in Philly, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Austin.
