Like high school, spring is full of traditions to celebrate friends. With your help, we launched the inaugural #PTW17 Superlatives, seven categories of people taking part in Philly Tech Week 2017 presented by Comcast.
We announced the winners over Twitter during the #PTW17 Signature Event. Here they are now.
First, the winners of the three categories we got nominations for during the 10-day tech event series.
Best #PTW17 Swag: law firm Saul Ewing got shoutouts for throwback Yo-Yos and light-up fans during our crowded closing party.
Best #PTW17 Venue: new coworking space The Yard was nominated for their roof deck party during the #PTW17 Innovation Crawl.
Best Dressed #PTW17 Speaker: Rakia Reynolds, who was a mentor during Technical.ly Introduced: Curated Founder Connections, got a nomination for a nifty hat and boot combo.
Best #PTW17 Food Spread: Annual hackathon evoHaX was called out for its homemade Pakistani food and pho spreads.
Then the winners of the categories you voted for leading into the week:
Event Most Likely to Have a Waiting List: Our annual closing Signature Event earned your vote, which was fitting with 1,000 ticketed attendees.
Most Beautiful Code: Gabrielle Trotter, lead embedded software engineer at BuLogics.
Most Likely to be Mayor: Bob Moul, CEO at Cloudamize, board member of Philly Startup Leaders, which hosted the Entrepreneur Expo.
Startup Most Likely to Have a Eye-Popping Exit: Stitch, the RJMetrics spinout consolidated sales data platform.
