After acquiring Baltimore-based Analytical Informatics last year, Philips is hiring for a series of tech positions in Baltimore. Among them is a developer position within the company’s radiology solutions to improve workflow in the clinic, along with other functions.

Contrast Security is seeking a UX Designer.

The cybersecurity company in Natty Boh Tower is looking to expand its UX team. According to the job description, the goal is to bring some story and simplicity to application security, which in this case involves technology allowing apps to protect themselves against threats.

Stanley Black and Decker is looking to hire a software engineer.

On the jobs board, we spotted that the company known for hardware is hiring for software in its Breakthrough Innovation team in Towson. The role involves prototyping mobile apps to connect to hardware, as well as new software and algorithms.

The Baltimore Sun seeks a digital sales strategist.

The Baltimore Sun Media Group has a new chance to help local media. It’s hiring for a senior sales role on its digital side, primarily focused on growing business and developing new clients.

Planit is hiring a front-end web developer.

In March, the Federal Hill creative agency played host to a local iteration of the hiring event HackerX, which brought together companies and developers for a “speed-dating” style event. Leaders of the agency were also among those seeking new candidates. Planit is looking to hire for its tech team, adding a front-end developer to work on client properties.
