Philadelphia-based goPuff is planning to launch its on-demand delivery service this month in Baltimore.
With orders placed via app, the company provides delivery of items you’d likely find at a convenience store, like snacks, household supplies and of course ice cream. They’ve answered the call for plenty of cravings.

News of the impending Baltimore launch was first reported by the Baltimore Business Journal.
goPuff doesn’t have a set launch date in Baltimore, but is planning to be up and running before the end of the year, said Director of Communications Liz Romaine. The service will initially be offered in more than 20 ZIP codes, covering a wide area of the city.
The company’s drivers don’t actually go to a convenience store, as it keeps thousands of goods in a local warehouse ready to head straight to a customer’s door. It’s got those late-night bagel bites covered, as goPuff provides delivery from noon-4:30 a.m.
goPuff is staffing up, and is hiring for team members for warehouse operations, as well as drivers.
Founded in 2013 by Drexel grads Rafael Ilishayev and Yakir Gola, goPuff is now in more than 50 markets. The company expanded to D.C. and College Park in recent years, and has been eying Baltimore expansion for some time now, Romaine said.
In Philly, the company recently announced a $4 million expansion including a new HQ and a dozen warehouses in Pennsylvania, our sister site Technical.ly Philly reported.
