The Toronto-based annual tech conference is known to draw thousands of attendees. In its sixth year, Collision is set to take place June 23 through 25 — this time online, due to COVID-19.
Northern Virginia economic development orgs have teamed up in the past to take local startups to the conference in Toronto, but since the events have been moved online, more startups will be sponsored to attend.
Startups must have physical offices in either of the three areas, plus fall within the following specific criteria to be eligible, according to a news release:
- Be an early stage startup that is less than five years old
- Have raised less than $3 million in funding
- Have their own unique software product or solutions or be working on their own connected hardware spaces
- Be launched and live with their own working website
- Have a logo available in .eps format
Consultancies, independent developers, marketing or advertising agencies and public companies will not be considered for sponsorships.
The deadline for applications is May 22.
ApplyIf granted a sponsorship, startups will be given three all-access event tickets, have a dedicated success manager, be eligible to apply for the pitch event, gain access to mentors and investors and more.
