Phone2Action acquired D.C.-based GovPredict.
Arlington, Virginia-based Phone2Action, an advocacy software company that curates a mobile app so public affairs groups can interact with their followers, has acquired D.C.-based GovPredict for an undisclosed amount.
Launched in 2015, GovPredict is a Y Combinator-backed enterprise software platform for government affairs teams. This acquisition allows seven-year-old Phone2Action to provide a comprehensive platform for government and advocacy group leaders to collaborate on projects, gain insight into key bills and policies and galvanize people to act.
“Phone2Action, in combination with GovPredict, now offers an advanced suite of solutions to enable government relations and public affairs professionals to track and influence the policies that impact their work,” said Phone2Action CEO Jeb Ory in a statement
With this deal, GovPredict CEO Emil Pitkin will join Phone2Action’s leadership team. The combined company hasn’t yet reported any other immediate employment changes or shifts.
Ntiva acquired D.C.-based eGuard Technology Services.
McLean, Virginia-based IT consulting company Ntiva has acquired D.C.-based eGuard Technology Services for an undisclosed amount.
Founded in 2004, eGuard Technology Services is a provider of IT services to small businesses and nonprofits. This deal follows Ntiva’s plan to continue to expand its footprint and client base in the D.C. area.
“eGuard Tech has long committed to differentiating our services by being the strategic technology and business consultant to our clients and delivering innovative technology solutions,” said its CEO, Khaled Farhang, in a press release. “Our partnership with Ntiva has offered us the opportunity to expand on these services while providing a deep bench in the crucial areas of security and cloud solutions.”
This is the company’s second acquisition of the year, following its acquisition of Chicago-based managed IT services provider Equilibrium. Ntiva was also honored on Inc.’s new business growth list and the 2020 Inc. 5000 list earlier this year.
PAE is set to acquire Massachusetts-based CENTRA Technology.
Falls Church, Virginia-based PAE, a government and military tech provider, as entered an agreement to acquire Massachusetts-based aerospace and defense tech company CENTRA Technology for $208 million.
CENTRA has a team of 760 employees who work across its operations center in Arlington and Massachusetts. The company’s entire team, which includes some employees with top secret government clearances, will join PAE once the transaction closes. The acquisition has already been approved by the board of directors from both companies and the deal is expected to close this quarter.
10Pearls acquired TCT Computing Group.
Vienna, Virginia-based 10Pearls, a digital development company helping businesses with product design, development and tech implementation, has acquired Columbia, Maryland-based TCT Computing Group.
TCT is a software testing, quality assurance and consulting services provider. The financial terms of the acquisition deal were not disclosed but TCT CEO Sarah Roderus has joined 10Pearls as VP of testing services while all other TCT employees and contractors will join 10Pearls’ team as well.
The move “allows us to scale our current offerings and help companies more strategically across a gamut of technical and business challenges,” said Roderus in a statement. “10Pearls’ unique double bottom line mission aligns well with our founders’ philosophy of doing well while doing good.”
10Pearls recently won best tech work culture at the sixth annual D.C. Timmy Awards.
