iPipeline: Exton insurance software company acquires Fla.-based Aplifi

The acquisition makes iPipeline "the largest life and annuities platform in North America," spokesman Michael Persiano told the Inquirer.

1818 Market Street houses two insurance software companies: iPipeline and Adminovate.

iPipeline, an Exton insurance software firm with an office in Center City, acquired its Pompano Beach, Fla.-based competitor Aplifi for an undisclosed amount, according to a release.

The acquisition makes iPipeline “the largest life and annuities platform in North America,” spokesman Michael Persiano told the Inquirer.

Aplifi’s 60 employees will remain in Pompano Beach, Persiano told Technically Philly. Before the acquisition, iPipeline employed 390 across the U.S. and in the U.K., Canada and Japan.
