Well, shared office space may be more accurate. Either way, the view is nice, the decor is sleek and the coffee's from ReAnimator. Here's a partial tenant list.

Industrious, the coworking import whose flagship is in Chicago but whose founders are in New York City, opened its doors on South Broad last month.
The two-floor, 20,000-square-foot space on the 17th and 18th floors of 230 S. Broad St. is largely private offices, with a small common space. It’s more than three-quarters occupied (private offices are generally easier to fill than single coworking spots, coworking space owners like Benjamin’s Desk’s Michael Maher have told us).
Industrious aims to be a luxury shared office space, with ReAnimator Coffee, almond and chocolate croissants every morning and happy hours each week. The views of the city from Industrious are also a sight to behold.
It employs one full-time (community manager Kristine Chin) and one part-time (coordinator Krissy Sheehan).
Meanwhile, some of Philly’s original coworking spots are planning their next moves: Venturef0rth is trying to turn itself around, Indy Hall is facing rising rents and Benjamin’s Desk is opening a new spot in Washington Square West. Also, NYC coworking corporation WeWork is officially opening next year in Philadelphia at the Piazza in Northern Liberties.
Lots of coworking news ’round here these days.
Here’s a look at some of Industrious’ Philly tenants, as per Chin and our observations.

  • Instacart (formerly at Indy Hall)
  • Wash Cycle Laundry (formerly at 1617 JFK Blvd.)
  • VeryApt (formerly at 2401 Walnut St. in Wharton’s MBA student space)

  • Brian Communications
