who’s getting funded?
Digital Management Inc., based in Bethesda, has raised $200,000 in debt financing, according to SEC filings. The company produces, among other services, mobile applications for enterprise businesses, including Nike, Reuters and more, and the federal government, including the U.S. Air Force.
who’s making moves?
- Columbia-based Unleashed Technologies was awarded Website of the Year from the Drupal Blue Drop Awards for development of The Woodhouse Day Spa’s website, according to a press release. The Columbia web and hosting company was also awarded Best Media Site for developing the website for Electrical Contractor magazine, as well as Best Nonprofit Site for the website of the United States Naval Institute.
- 410 Labs, creators of Mailstrom, is looking to raise $5 million in its third round of funding this year to double its staff of six.
- Howard County data storage company RackTop Systems “opened a 4,500-square-foot office, lab and warehouse at 11840 West Market Place in Fulton” earlier this month.
- Password manager CommonKey (the CEO is Andrew Stroup of Baltimore Foundery and “Big Brain Theory” fame) needs to raise $500,000 from investors.
