Refresh Baltimore: After a long hiatus, Refresh Baltimore returns Thursday for a presentation by Tracey Halvorsen of Fastspot. She’ll be speaking about the pros and cons of open source software by sharing the story of Big Tree, an open source CMS. Refreshments will be served, and the “after-party” will be at Banditos. Thursday, Jan. 17, 7 p.m. Betamore, 1111 Light St., Federal Hill, Baltimore city. RSVP. FREE.
Digital Harbor Tech Center Opening: Join members of the Digital Harbor Foundation as they celebrate the grand opening of the Digital Harbor Tech Center, a space that marries tech and maker education with the environment of an after-school club.
