Delaware’s 10 fastest-growing private companies of 2023 (according to Inc. 5000)

Pride, because we love to see Delaware companies thriving; frustration because the filtered-by-state list still includes a number of companies that are incorporated in Delaware, but aren’t actually based here. Here’s why that keeps happening.

Because of that, the true list of ranked local companies is different from the Inc. 5000 list. Companies with Delaware addresses that are corporate services mailboxes, as well as companies with LinkedIn pages that state a location that isn’t in the First States and that do not have Delaware employees, are not included.

When developing the list, Inc. considers private, for-profit companies based in the US that show impressive growth rates over three years, 2019 to 2022. These companies must have earned a minimum revenue of $100,000 in 2019 and a maximum revenue of $2 million in 2022.

Based in CSC Station in Wilmington, Social Contract is a social impact consulting firm that’s seen 306% growth.

The Wilmington-based marketing and advertising company that turns cars into moving billboards recently opened its new Riverfront headquarters amid 198% growth.

The Wilmington fintech company headquartered in Concord Plaza has grown by 155%.

#3,795 R.S. Widdoes & Son, Inc.

The Wilmington concrete contracting company R.S. Widdoes & Son saw 125% growth.
