‘Netflix for camera lenses’ Bokeh Fire is raising $20K on Kickstarter [Startup Roundup]

WHO’S GETTING FUNDED?

Zuppler, the online ordering platform, raised $400,000, according to an SEC filing.

Bokeh Fire, the Fairmount-based “Netflix for camera lenses,” is raising $20,000 on Kickstarter to expand its service nationally. So far it’s raised nearly $15,000. Support the campaign here by Dec. 13.

Drexel undergrad startup Chakra Fitwear, which makes yoga pants out of recycled water bottles, is raising $80,000 on Kickstarter. Read the Drexel News story about them here. Chakra has raised more than $7,000 so far. Support the campaign by Dec. 20.

WHO’S GETTING BANNED?

City Council approved a bill to ban mobile apps that let you buy and sell parking spots. Meanwhile, Baltimore-based Haystack, a mobile app that exactly that, shut down, our sister site Technical.ly Baltimore reported.

WHO’S MAKING MOVES?

South Philly indie game company Ghost Crab Games partnered with Old City’s SuperMighty to help fight childhood hunger, Ghost Crab’s Chris Hoopes told us. In December, for every “disable ads” in-app purchase on the iOS version of Bungle!, a portion will go to charity. Download the iOS version here. Ghost Crab will also be showing off some games at MAGFest in Maryland at the end of January.
