A new meetup exclusively for Java junkies has surfaced in Delaware, organized by no other than director of education at Zip Code Wilmington, Tariq Hook. He organized it in hopes of giving Zip Code graduates a place to connect after graduation.
“I started it up, so that formal grads of Zip Code could come and talk about Java, and encourage the engineers in their departments to join them,” Hook said. “To really build a sense of community in Wilmington.” Still, he says, it’s really open to anyone that’s interested in attending.
The first meeting brought out 60 attendees back in June and was sponsored and hosted by JPMorgan Chase.
If you snoozed and missed it, get yourself to the next one. It will be hosted at The Mill in downtown Wilmington on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
