After Philly Tech Week, one of the best shots to get a vast look at Philly’s tech community is our annual Super Meetup.

Last year a whopping 1,000 folks dropped by HeadHouse Square for a summer night of chatting up others, swapping business cards and nabbing some much-needed popsicles.

This year the shindig is back Monday, Aug. 14, and featuring a new venue: Uptown Beer Garden.

In honor of its yearly return, here’s a ranking of the biggest meetup groups (by number of users) that you’ll get to hob-nob with.

(Mind you: Technical.ly’s own Meetup group isn’t in the running, but we’re just a hair below 8,000.)

10. Greater Philadelphia Drupal Meetup Group

9. Design Brew

8. Philly Makers

7. Philly JUG

6. The ITEM

5. GeoPHL

4. Philadelphia UI/UX

 3. Software as Craft Philadelphia

2. Code for Philly

1. Girl Develop It Philly

Honorable mentions: shoutout to the oldest Philly meetup group (PANMA), which dates back to 1996, and to what seems to be the largest combined meetup group, Philly New Tech Meetup, which won’t be joining us for Super Meetup but has its own sesh happening Aug. 16.

See ya at Super Meetup! RSVP here.
