Since launching in 2015, Delaware Innovation Week has become one of Technical.ly’s most impactful ways to help people and companies make connections. Especially when it comes to jobs.
Over the years, we’ve heard anecdotally from founders and hiring managers that when we publish a story about their company, they get a flood of inbound candidates who are highly qualified and not necessarily looking for a new position.
Now, to help more companies access our audience of technologists, we’re trying something new.
Throughout Delaware Innovation Week 2017, we’ll be introducing our latest contribution to connecting companies with talented local people. It’s called Technically Talent.
“Talent,” as we say internally, is a new digital marketing platform for hiring managers to tell their company’s culture story and engage passive job seekers through Technical.ly’s content and audience network, including our articles, email newsletters, social channels, Slack channel and “cool job alerts.”
In addition, to make it easier for candidates to access that “inside track” on a company, we send contributors onsite to capture the stories and people that make a company unique.
Check out some of the culture pages we’ve produced for Technically Talent beta clients:
As part of the Technically Talent platform, we’re also testing custom articles to attract specific candidates, like this interview with Vistar Media engineer Derek Mansen about what it’s like work on his team and a Q&A with a crew of developers who chose to put down roots at WebLinc.
To celebrate the official launch and to thank everyone in this community that makes something like Technically Talent possible, we’re rollin’ it back to zero during Delaware Innovation Week with free posts on our Technical.ly jobs board for two weeks only.
