We rolled out a new feature this year for Philly Tech Week: the PTW Community Supporter sponsorship — another way for local businesses to support the tech community, tech journalism and the inclusive events that bring them all together.
One of the most important things our PTW Community Supporters do is sponsor two PTW scholars each. The new PTW Scholarship Program matches community members who are unable to cover the cost of certain events with sponsors who are willing to invest in the area’s talent pipeline.
We work hard to make PTW all-around awesome, and as inclusive as we can make it. The Scholarship Program helps us with those goals, and we have our first-ever PTW Community Supporters to thank:
Arc Intermedia
An integrated digital marketing firm based in King of Prussia, Arc Intermedia is helping to put the region on the map. Why did they decide to sponsor? David Sonn, president of Arc Intermedia, explains:
As a digital marketing agency in the Philadelphia area, Arc Intermedia understands the importance of Philadelphia’s success in attracting and supporting tech startups, talented individuals, and major companies that are considering Philadelphia as a home for their operations. These outcomes have a direct impact on our company and the communities we live in. We sponsor Philly Tech Week both financially and through our own promotion to help it achieve this important work.
Glad that our agency @arcintermedia supports #PhillyTechWeek – through sponsorship, attendance, and promotion. It matters to #Philadelphia. Here's why: https://t.co/V5w1EUYmvG. #PTW18 @PhillyTechWeek @TechnicallyPHL @startupleaders https://t.co/4BA2YLGdxn https://t.co/9LoNelva3V
