Best Buddies, the organization that matches youth and adults with IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) with peers, services and employment, is having its 2017 Friendship Walk at Bellevue State Park on Oct. 28, and 1313 Innovation is a sponsor — with an added bonus.
1313 Innovation is home to the Best Buddies Delaware office, where State Director Thomas Waite works, along with office assistant Michael Pasquale, who was hired through the program in 2010. In support of Pasquale and his Friendship Walk team, Pretty Little Liars, 1313 Innovation will match every dollar donated to the team, up to $500, to help them reach their goal of $1,000.
Click here to make a donation or to register to participate.
The Best Buddies Friendship Walk starts with registration at 8:30 a.m., and includes post-Walk entertainment from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
