You’ve probably heard of Goldman Sachs‘ small business development program called 10,000 Small Businesses (10KSB). If you’ve been thinking about getting involved yourself, now’s your opportunity.

The global financial services company’s program is designed to help entrepreneurs create a five-year growth plan for their business, improve leadership skills and expand their professional network. That network includes more than 660 Philadelphia-region business owners and over 10,000 small businesses across the country. (Yes, it’s in the name.)

The free 14-week program is delivered via partners in all 50 states, including the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce’s Emerging Enterprise Center (EEC).

To help biz owners decide whether applying for 10KSB is right for them, the EEC will be holding a virtual information session at 11 a.m. on Sept. 2, where owners will learn about the program, the application process and how to submit the application by the Sept. 30 deadline.
