The trade publication for corporate site selectors ranked state, metro and global regions in dozens of categories, including business climate, millennial appeal and green energy use.

The city of Wilmington got the highest ranking of all for the state, with a #2 ranking in Best Business Climate (population under 200,0000), outranked only by Alexandria, Virginia. Other cities to make the top 10 in this category include Amarillo, Texas; Manchester, New Hampshire; and Joplin, Missouri.
