Art + Science Festival brings Delaware museums together Oct. 15

Looking for a free fall event for the whole family? Head to the Delaware Art Museum next month to celebrate STEM.

If you’ve got kids, you won’t want to miss this.
The Delaware Art Museum will host a free family-friendly Art + Science Festival on Oct. 15, featuring “art and science activities hosted by area museums, local scientists and artists, with live animals, art detective games, science demonstrations and more.”
Organizations that will host activities will include:

  • Delaware Center for Horticulture
  • Delaware Contemporary
  • Delaware Libraries
  • Delaware Museum of Natural History
  • Hagley Museum & Library
  • Longwood Gardens
  • Winterthur Museum, Garden, and Library
  • 4Youth Productions

The festival will also include a special presentation of “Travelling Science Show: Hot and Cold” by the Franklin Institute.
