Cybersecurity firm Verodin recently moved to a new home, and not just a home, but a global headquarters in Tysons, Va. The company, which raised raised a $10 million Series A just two months after coming out of stealth mode in Reston, Va., in 2016, makes a platform to assess whether a company’s cybersecurity tools are doing their job.
U.S. Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-11) was onhand at the ribbon cutting.
“I’m pleased to welcome Verodin’s global headquarters to Tysons,” Connolly said in a statement. “Cybersecurity is a top priority for me in Congress, and Verodin is one of those groundbreaking companies that is attracting top tech talent to Northern Virginia.”

The company, which was a 2017 Technical.ly DC realLIST honoree, said it had 400 percent growth in 2017. Hiring continues in 2018.
“The opening of Verodin’s new global headquarters is an extremely proud moment for us and a testament to all the hard work and explosive growth in 2017,” said Verodin CEO Chris Key. “Organizations everywhere are realizing that it’s time to inspect the effectiveness of their cybersecurity programs and rationalize the dollars they are spending.”
