Framebridge founder Susan Tynan has been getting a lot of press lately. Her D.C. business was founded three years ago. It has raised $37 million, and partnered with large retailers, including Crate & Barrel, Target and star designer Nate Berkus.
To talk about how she laid the foundation for all of that growth, Tynan recently appeared on NPR’s How I Built This.

Tynan received her MBA at Harvard University, and her credits include working with Steve Case‘s Revolution Health, the Obama administration at the White House and Living Social.
As Tynan previously told Technical.ly DC, she founded the custom framing company because of struggles getting things framed as a consumer. On the podcast, Tynan talks about navigating those consumer pain points from the company’s point of view.
