WHO’S GETTING FUNDED?
TransHawk Systems, a stealth-mode company that provides remote monitoring and control systems for cell towers or broadcast towers, has raised a $300,000 seed round, according to an SEC filing. The Arlington-based company was founded by CTO Terry Woodbridge and president Bill Pommerening, who heads the bank consulting firm RP Financial.
A Great Falls, Va.-based lease accounting SaaS company, LeaseAccelerator, raised $1.2 million last week, according to an SEC filing.
Personal, a Georgetown-based company that helps customers manage and leverage their personal data, raised $4.2 million in equity last week, according to an SEC filing.
vThreat, a Saas platform that simulates cybersecurity threats, closed a $600,000 seed round this week, according to an SEC filing. The company was founded last September by Marcus Carey, a member of the fall 2014 cohort of the Mach37 cybersecurity accelerator. Gaige Paulsen, who advised Carey through the accelerator, joined the company as CEO late last year.
