“Grace’s Law,” the cyber-bullying bill being debated by the Maryland General Assembly, has passed the House and will move on to the Senate, reports the Baltimore Sun.
The bill, named after a Howard County teen who committed suicide after being bullied over social media cites, defines “cyber-bullying as the use of interactive computer media to  kill, injure or harass someone under 18 or to inflict emotional distress or fear of death or injury.” If passed into law, the penalty for violations would be a $500 fine and up to one year in jail.
