You may have already heard that we’re bringing Reshma Saujani, founder and CEO of Girls Who Code and New York Times bestselling author, to speak in Philly this coming February.
In newer news, we’re excited to announce that Sallie Krawcheck has confirmed her participation in the “Brave, Not Perfect: Rewiring Expectations Beyond Gender Norms” event and will interview Saujani in a fireside chat during the first portion of the program.
Krawcheck has an impressive résumé:
- She’s the chair of the Ellevate Network, a 135,000-members-strong global professional women’s network.
- She’s the CEO and cofounder of Ellevest, a digital-first, mission-driven investment platform for women.
- She’s chair of the Pax Ellevate Global Women’s Leadership Fund, a fund that invests in the top-rated companies for advancing women.
- And she’s the bestselling author of “Own It: The Power of Women at Work.”
After the fireside chat, we’ll bring other thought leaders from Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs to the stage for a conversation. They’ll discuss Saujani’s book (“Brave, Not Perfect,” being released in early February) and how we can all learn to look beyond gender norms and rewire our brains to be brave instead of striving for perfection.
Tickets are selling fast and will sell out so be sure to reserve your spot at the event. You can even register for a VIP ticket which will garner you access to a post-event autograph and photo session with Saujani.
