This Philadelphia woman taped 35 years of TV news [Fast Company]

Marion Stokes was a librarian at the Free Library, a civic rights activist and a talk show coproducer, but at her Rittenhouse Square home, her life revolved around taping TV news.

Stokes, who was born in Germantown and passed away last December at the age of 83, taped local TV news at all hours of the day for 35 years, FastCompany reported. Now, her 140,000 tapes are now being digitized by the Internet Archive.
