These tech girls are taking over.

Twenty sixth to eighth grade girls completed TechGirlz Entrepreneur Summer Camp last Friday. The participants learned about entrepreneurship and technology by developing their own businesses during the week-long camp, which sold out in just 12 hours when registration opened last March.

The end product? See for yourself.

The girls developed projects like Our Swap Shop, a website where teens can exchange cards without giving away any personal information, and Find My Food, a mobile app that helps people find the ingredients they need to cook a certain recipe.

TechGirlz, a nonproft that works to promote a love of technology among young women, organized the camp with Startup Corps and DreamIT Ventures.

The camp has gotten both national attention, in Inc. Magazine, and local attention, on NBC10 last Friday.
