Leadership changes are continuing at Under Armour, as the Baltimore-based company is shaking up its international structure.
In a news release issued this week, the company announced four new appointments for regions of the world.
Here’s a look at the changes, per Under Armour:
The company said Jason Archer will now serve as managing director for Asia Pacific. Archer previously oversaw the company’s Latin American business as well as a transformation of its international financial and operating.
With the move, Managing Director for Greater China Erick Haskell plans to leave the company, according to UA.
Additionally, Under Armour is expanding its Hong Kong office to serve as Asia Pacific headquarters. The region covers UA operations in China, India, Australia, Japan and South Korea.
The managing director of Latin America is now Manuel Ovalle, who has been working in the southern portion of the region with the company for five years after coming over from adidas. He will be based in Panama, overseeing the entire region.
Massimo Baratto is now serving as Managing Director for Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. He joined the company in May after serving as CEO of the Oberalp Group.
Under the new structure, Jason LaRose was named President for North America. He has led the region since 2016, after leadership roles in e-commerce and digital revenue.
International sales have been a bright spot for the company even as it posted losses for the first time in its history and announced layoffs amid a company-wide restructuring.
Each of the regional leaders will report to UA President and COO Patrik Frisk, who joined the company last year. It’s the latest in a series of executive shake-ups in recent months.
“Today’s actions support our commitment to becoming a more operationally excellent company capable of supporting the global potential of the Under Armour brand,” Frisk said in a statement. “As we work to scale our international business, we remain focused and measured in our evolution across our entire portfolio to ensure that we are driving toward long-term return for our shareholders.”
