On Monday night 80 lucky folks got an inside look at the technology that runs Oriole Park at Camden Yards (plus a bunch of other cool ballpark stuff). We skipped the stands and got to learn firsthand about:
- bullpen and monument park
- DAS (digital and aerials and satellite) system
- WiFi in the ballpark
- Dempsey’s Pub’s microbrewing process
- media control room
- security command station
- Orioles dugout
- field
- back halls
After the tour, everyone got to taste some of Dempsey’s excellent brewed-on-premises beer and nachos.
