On Monday night 80 lucky folks got an inside look at the technology that runs Oriole Park at Camden Yards (plus a bunch of other cool ballpark stuff). We skipped the stands and got to learn firsthand about:

  • bullpen and monument park
  • DAS (digital and aerials and satellite) system
  • WiFi in the ballpark
  • Dempsey’s Pub’s microbrewing process
  • media control room
  • security command station
  • Orioles dugout
  • field
  • back halls

After the tour, everyone got to taste some of Dempsey’s excellent brewed-on-premises beer and nachos.
