Kevin Plank officially invites you to next year’s Cupid’s Cup

The Under Armour founder is taking the entrepreneurship competition to Chicago this year.

Kevin Plank’s entrepreneurship competition will be back for its 10th year in 2017. This year, the finals will be held in Chicago.
Applications are open for Cupid’s Cup, and are due by Jan. 1, 2017.
The competition offers up to $100,000 in prizes to entrepreneurs, as well as access to Plank’s business network. A semifinal round is set to be held at Under Armour headquarters in Locust Point in February. The following month, the finals will be held on the campus of Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill.

Before winning AccelerateBaltimore’s $100,000 last year, mybestbox was a finalist in the competition.
Entrepreneurs who apply must be either college students, or recent alumni of a university who are younger than 30. The competition is a nod to the first business Plank started at the University of MarylandCupid’s Valentine Rose Delivery.
Past finals were held at UMD in College Park. The move to Chicago is the start of a nationwide expansion.
