A few months after closing a Series A and planting seeds of expansion, UrbanStems is set to get flower delivery rolling in Baltimore.
The D.C.-based startup officially debuted in Baltimore last week. The company has been making its presence felt with a crown workshop and a launch party at Spark Baltimore.

Operations-wise, UrbanStems will have five employees working out of a Mt. Vernon distribution center, a spokeswoman said. They’re handling deliveries to neighborhoods in the center of the city. More neighborhoods could follow in the coming months.
The expansion to Baltimore came after a $6.8 million Series A. That funding round included a second-time investment from the Kevin Plank-backed Sagamore Ventures. Expansion plans also include Philadelphia.
