In Baltimore, even the sustainability solutions have their own AMAs. So with the city drafting a new plan around environmental issues, it makes sense that citizens should get to weigh in beyond the usual public comment period.
The update of Baltimore’s comprehensive sustainability plan includes an effort to collect citizens’ stories. The idea is to open up the process to everyone.
The five-month effort kicks off at a town hall meeting on Tuesday, April 19 at 6 p.m., at Humanim’s American Brewery Building (1901 N. Gay St.).

At the event, the city’s Office of Sustainability and Changing Media will begin collecting stories at a station using #EveryStoryCounts. Starting with a Storify aggregation, the goal is to collect data that can match what environmental issues interest citizens to what the city can provide.
Plus, it’s a chance to check out a tiny house and the city’s new bikeshare.
