There’s yet another Maryland cybersecurity deal to report.
Crofton-based network security company Force 3 was acquired by Sirius Computing Solutions, the two companies announced Thursday. Terms of the deal, which is expected to close on March 31, were not disclosed. Force 3 will continue to operate as a separate legal entity, but will now be titled “A Sirius Computing Solutions Company.”
Force 3, which works with a variety of federal clients, currently has 170 employees. With the deal, the company will have new access to Sirius offerings, and may expand geographically, the company said in a statement. San Antonio-based Sirius says the move expands its portfolio in the federal government space.
