Jonathan Hook named first chief investment officer of Weinberg Foundation

The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, based in Owings Mills, awards around $100 million in grants each year, and now its first chief investment officer, Jonathan Hook, will be “refining the foundation’s investment strategy,” reports the Baltimore Business Journal:

Hook was hired after a national search for an investment officer with experience spearheading new initiatives. In 2008, Hook most recently worked at Ohio State University, where he was chief investment officer and vice president.
