Roberta Sabin, Ph.D., professor emerita of computer science at Loyola University Maryland, will be teaching computer science at the University of Malawi courtesy of a Fulbright Scholar grant.
Malawi, sandwiched by Mozambique, Zambia and Tanzania in Southeast Africa, has a fast-growing business community where commerce is increasingly dependent on technology, according to the press release.
“Technology may be the key to the advancement of the country,” Sabin said.
