Tenable Network Security, the Columbia-based network security firm that sells products to the U.S. government, made Business Insider’s list of “15 Most Important Security Startups of 2013.”
According to Business Insider, companies on the list were chosen because they’re “approaching security in a fresh new way” and have “impressive founders” as well as sizable financing.
In October, as Technically Baltimore reported, Tenable received $50 million in funding from Silicon Valley-based venture firm Accel Partners. It was the largest investment Accel had made in any North American company to date.
