Edcamp Baltimore comes to Digital Harbor High School in Federal Hill this Saturday.
The Edcamp, an unconference that’s just one of many put together by local organizers with the help of the national nonprofit Edcamp Foundation since 2011, is an opportunity for K-12 teachers and educators to “exchange ideas and learn together,” according to the Edcamp website. Put differently: it’s participant-centric professional development with a Happy Hour at the end of it all.
Register for Edcamp Baltimore, free to attend.

Participants at the day-long conference can choose to either sit in on as many sessions as they’d like to, or lead a few of their own, although there will be an afternoon presentation of Web 2.0 tools teachers can use in their classrooms.
