The Digital Harbor Foundation, fresh off a summer of training its inaugural class of EdTech fellows and launching a website for teachers to document the “pain points” in education, is now establishing a Rec2Tech Center in Federal Hill.
In a post on the Baltimore Tech Facebook group, co-executive director Shelly Blake-Plock said the center “will be a nonprofit community tech/make space serving [Baltimore city public school] K-12 students and the neighborhood. It’ll be located at Light and Cross and will hopefully be opening in late-October.” Right now, DHF is seeking donations for the Rec2Tech Center.

Blake-Plock recently set up a Baltimore EdTech group on LinkedIn, and DHF is hosting an EdTech meetup on October 22.
