Hear how Japan changed the way NotionTheory does business

NotionTheory CEO Kristian Bouw's recent trip to Japan made him rethink the way his company solves problems. He's giving a talk about it next week.

Why should Japan be entrepreneurs’ No. 1 travel destination?
Kristian Bouw, cofounder and CEO of Dupont Circle-based NotionTheory, will answer that at the company’s next event, “What Japan Taught Me About Identifying Market Opportunities: Innovation from the East,” on Wednesday, June 29 from 6-9 p.m. at cove (1990 K St. NW).

Bouw is no stranger to giving talks and presentations about all kinds of startup topics (he gave a dev talk at Technical.ly’s inaugural NET/WORK event in the District). This one stems from his recent trip through Japan in an attempt to learn about the country’s business culture. The trip changed the way NotionTheory identifies and solves problems, according to the event page.
The self-admitted “weeaboo” will also touch on where to find obvious problems no one else is solving and what makes a great user and product experience.
