One of the region’s fastest-growing IT companies, Info Solutions, is based in Wilmington. Last month, New Castle County Chamber of Commerce named it the Small Business of the Year award at the virtual 2020 Small Business Awards.

Founded in 2008 and a long-term participant in the NCC Chamber’s Emerging Enterprise Center, Info Solutions has grown, in part, due to its work in delivering IT solutions for remote work — a service that has become increasingly in demand during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Info Solutions has had a stellar year, even in the midst of a pandemic,” said Jaimie Watts, director of events for the NCC Chamber, in a statement. “The company simultaneously supported the changing needs of the business community and adapted to your own changing needs while successfully showing financial and hiring growth year-over-year.”

Info Solutions offers services such as network infrastructure, server consolidation and cloud services.

Other winners included fintech company Marlette Funding, developer of Best Egg, which won Mid-Market Business of the Year, and Janssen’s Market, which received the Small Business Icon Award.
