ClearEdge IT opens 36K-square-foot headquarters in Howard County

Data analytics firm ClearEdge IT Solutions calls Howard County the "ideal location" for future growth.

Data analytics and systems engineering firm ClearEdge IT Solutions opened its new corporate headquarters in Jessup on March 14.
Twenty of the company’s 75 full-time employees will work from the new location in Howard County, a two-floor building with 36,000 total square footage.

“Howard County is the perfect location to accomplish our mission because of its close proximity to our customer and other defense contractors,” said Christy Puglisi, principal of ClearEdge, in an e-mail. “When we were looking for the ideal location, the energy and opportunity to grow and serve the local community made Howard County the place to be.”
ClearEdge, which provides software and analytics services to the U.S. Department of Defense and such private companies as Lockheed Martin and Boeing, also offers classes in cloud computing, Hadoop and jQuery through its Distributed Computing Center of Excellence.
