Have lunch with these investors at Philly Startup Leaders’ annual Founder Factory

PSL wants to fight the thinking that local investment firms aren't approachable.

Get face time with local investment firms at Philly Startup Leaders’ annual Founder Factory conference on Dec. 10.
Reps from SeventySix CapitalSafeguard Scientifics, Robin Hood Ventures, Ben Franklin Technology Partners, Gabriel Investments, Investors Circle and DreamIt, will be on hand during lunch to answer questions, offer advice and just hang out. (While investors like Gabriel’s Holly Flanagan and Robin Hood’s Ellen Weber will be present, not all the firms will have investors available during the lunch part of the event. Some will send staffers that work in other areas, like Investors’ Circle, which is sending program associate Rebecca Price; BFTP, which is sending spokesman Jason Bannon; and DreamIt, which is sending head of startup recruiting Jodie Sweitzer.)
It’s a way to combat the thinking that local investors are unapproachable or hard to get in touch with, said PSL’s Yuval Yarden.
Tickets for the all-day event start at $30 for college students. It’ll be held at the Chemical Heritage Foundation (315 Chestnut St.) in Old City.

Check out the lineup here. We’re happy to note that it’s fairly diverse, gender-wise. One-third of the 17 speakers are women, roughly the same percentage as the previous Founder Factory and way better than Founder Factory 2013, which only featured one woman speaker, handpicked from the audience.
