In need of some last-minute weekend plans?
Learn the basics of Python with developer Maneesha Sane. It’s especially geared toward non-programmers.
“We’re not going in with the idea that we want everyone to be a programmer,” Sane wrote in an email. “I wouldn’t say everyone should be a plumber, but it’s incredibly useful to know the basics to be able to do something simple like unclog a drain. Likewise, everyone shouldn’t be a programmer but it’s incredibly useful to know the basics to solve simple problems.”
The workshop costs $30 but if price is a barrier, you can take the workshop for free. It’ll take place at PromptWorks (1211 Chestnut St.) on Friday and Saturday.
