Twitter is streaming lacrosse games this season

And the very first matchup is in Baltimore at Loyola University Maryland.

There’s innovation coming to how fans can watch lacrosse. Fittingly, it’s originating in Baltimore.
Loyola University Maryland’s season opener against the University of Virginia on Feb. 11 will be a top 15 matchup. It will also be the first lax game to be streamed on Twitter, thanks to a partnership between Twitter and Campus Insiders, the broadcast partner of the NCAA’s Patriot League.

It’s another aggressive move in live-streaming sports from Twitter, which made waves when it won NFL streaming rights last year, then signed on with Major League Baseball and the NHL.
Now who’s got the lacrosse emojis?
