There’s a new way to look at Baltimore from overhead, and it doesn’t require a trip up to the falcon’s nest.
Baltimore By Air, which debuted today, features photos of the city captured by drone, and maps where the photos were taken.

The site is the work of Matt Satell, who took all of the initial 40-50 photographs on a visit to Baltimore about a month ago. He runs similar websites in Philly, Seattle and Portland. Our sister site Technical.ly Philly has covered him multiple times.
Satell runs a drone photography business, but doesn’t have any immediate commercial aims with the site.
“It’s really more to feature these really cool bird’s eye perspectives of the city,” he said. “I think there’s so many amazing perspectives of the city.”

Satell said he plans to add more pictures to the site soon.
With Elevated Element, Mobtown Social and the always breathtaking BlueMantleMedia, we know Charm City’s bench of quadcopter enthusiasts is already deep.
