A New York City online reputation management company opened an office in Lancaster in 2016.

CyberPoint International will commit $1 million over the next 10 years to support education, economic development and arts initiatives.
The donation is being made in the form of a fund that the cybersecurity company endowed with the Baltimore Community Foundation. They’re hoping other tech companies and leaders follow suit in making donations of their own.
“We can have all the financial and customer success in the world, but we still won’t be a great company unless we have a civic impact,” CyberPoint CEO Karl Gumtow said in a statement.
CyberPoint cofounder Vicki Gumtow was named to the Baltimore Community Foundation’s board last week. In the wake of the unrest and riots that followed Freddie Gray’s funeral the BCF established the Fund for Rebuilding Baltimore.
