It’s true: The annual Yes, Wilmington! fundraiser is returning on Oct. 27, with a focus on a healthier Delaware.
Wilmington Alliance will host the breakfast event at Riverfront Events from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., featuring keynote speaker Erin McDonald — senior advisor and lead for “Equitable Long-Term Recovery and Resilience Plan” within the US Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of the Assistant Secretary of Health — speaking about the “Vital Conditions Framework” and the State of Delaware’s action plan.
There will also be an interactive session, facilitated by Kate Dupont Phillips, executive director of Healthy Communities Delaware, and Leanne Fawkes, State Health Improvement Plan program manager, with results of the session used to inform Delaware’s State Health Assessment.
“We will brainstorm how to ‘multisolve’ to improve Wilmington communities so that ALL residents have the opportunity to thrive,” the event page reads. “Your voice will help shape the state’s action plan.”
