The Carroll-Camden Industrial Area startup Alchemy expanded its SmartBinder tool to organizations like the Maryland Historical Society, as Technical.ly Baltimore reported.
Towson-based Caves Valley Partners is seeking $42 million for its mixed-use development at 1111 Light St. in Federal Hill, as the Baltimore Business Journal reported. In addition to apartments and retail, the building also houses Red Owl Analytics, ZeroFOX and the incubator Betamore.
During a visit by Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, Red Owl Analytics officials announced plans to double the workforce at its Baltimore headquarters, as Technical.ly Baltimore reported.

HDScores is looking on the Baltimore Tech Facebook group for feedback on three logo concepts. The Baltimore startup is developing an app that uses publicly available restaurant inspection data to tell users whether a restaurant they plan to go to is clean or dirty. The only Maryland jurisdiction for which such data is available is Montgomery County, though all of Delaware and Virginia are covered, according to the company’s website.
